项目摘要

複合条件づけを行った後に、一方の要素刺激のみを強化すると、他方の要素刺激に対する条件反応は減弱する。この現象は逆行ブロッキングと呼ばれ、ヒトや動物が回顧的に推論を行ったことの証拠とみなされる。しかしながら、その詳細な発生機序は明らかになっておらず、現在もなお多くの学習理論の試金石となっている。本研究の目的は、随伴性判断と皮膚電気条件づけの実験事態を用いて、ヒトの回顧的再評価の生起条件を検討することであった。当該年度では、昨年度に引き続き、随伴性判断の事態で教示の効果を検証した。実験前の教示により、被験者がもつ因果の知識を群間で操作し、回顧的再評価が生じるか否かを検討した。また、核磁気画像共鳴法を併用することで、実験課題中の脳活動を調査した。その結果、"刺激の観察順序と因果関係は一致する"と教示された群では回顧的再評価が生じたが、"刺激の観察順序と因果関係は一致しない"と教示された群では回顧的再評価は生じなかった。さらに、実験課題中の脳活動を分析したところ、前者の群では前頭前野と線条体が、後者の群では頭頂間溝の周辺が強く賦活することが示された。なお、当該年度は皮膚電気条件づけの事態を用いることにより、刺激強度による影響を検討した。刺激を選定するための予備実験や先行研究のレビューは昨年度に終了していたため、その知見にもとづいて実験を行った。その結果、嫌悪的な刺激を用いた恐怖条件づけの事態でも回顧的再評価の現象が再現され、さらにこの傾向が随伴性判断の事態と同様に、実験前の教示の影響を受けることが示された。これらの事実は、刺激の物理的特性というよりは、むしろその主観的評価が回顧的再評価の過程と関わっていることを示しており、実験課題に関する命題的知識がその重要な役割を担うことを示唆していた。これらの研究結果は国内外の学会で発表しており、近く国際雑誌へ投稿する予定である。
