项目摘要

本年度は、当該研究の最終年度であるため、学会発表などを複数回行うことにより、これまでの研究成果を広く発表した。新プラトン主義協会での発表「キンディーにおける新プラトン主義哲学の影響」では、初期イスラーム哲学の翻訳期に活躍した哲学者キンディーal-Kindī(870以降歿)の『知性論』Risālah : fī al-'aqiに登場する「第二知性」と呼ばれるものに、どのようにしてギリシア思想、とりわけ新プラトン主義が影響を与えたか検討した。中世哲学会での発表「イスラーム哲学の文脈において哲学用語「wahm」が指すものの変遷」では、アリストテレスAristotelēs (BC384-322)の『魂について』Peri Psychēsで語られる「表象」Phantāsiaが、どのようにイスラーム世界に翻訳され、展開していったか。そしてその流れにおいてバグダード学派とキンディー学派によるtakhayyulとwahmという二つの用語選択が存在したことを明らかにした。またAvicenna Symposiumでの発表「Avicenna as an heir of Galen」では、中世イスラームの哲学者イブン・シーナーIbn Sīnā/Avicenna (980-1037)の内的感覚論における脳中心モデルの淵源が、古代ローマ時代のギリシア人医学者ガレノスGalēnos (200頃歿)にあり、中世イスラーム哲学の内的感覚論はファーラービーal-Fārābī(950歿)を除き、基本的にガレノスの脳中心モデルを採用していたことを明らかにした。以上の諸研究発表により、中世イスラーム哲学の思想的源泉の三つの要素(新プラトン主義、ペリパトス派哲学、そしてガレノス)をそれぞれ別個に検討し、明らかにすることが出来た。
