すでに本年度の交付申請書において報告されているように、本研究は当初の予定よりも進展を見たため、いくつかの変更を加えながら遂行されてきた。特に、プリンストン大学ファイヤーストーン図書館での資料調査を第二年度に行うことができ、在外研究の必要を前倒しして消化することができたため、最終年度にあたる今年度においては当初の予定を変更し、国内での研究成果の総合と発表に注力することができた。そのために、旅費として予定されていた奨励費はこの作業に必要なさらなる資料や機器等の購入にあてられることで、成果の充実に役立てることができた。成果発表の例は、すでに共著という形で具体的に発表されている。2013年11月に刊行された『抵抗と亡命のスペイン語作家たち』では、本研究の歴史的背景となるキューバ革命の文化政策について再解釈を行った論文「カストロ体制とラテンアメリカの作家たち」、および比較研究の主軸であるレイナルド、アレナスの作品について性と譜謔の主題を論じた論文「独裁vs性と笑い―レイナルド・アレナスの挑戦」の二編において、本比較研究の土台を明確に示し得た。また、これらの論考をもとにすることで、比較対象であるグティエレス、バルデスについても、同じく性と諧謔の主題について論を展開することができた。のみならず、立命館大学国際言語文化研究所が主催する「環カリブ文化・文学研究会」への参加は、本研究をキューバという国の枠組みを越えて展開する視座を得るためにも、非常に示唆に富んだ活動となった。これらの成果についても、雑誌媒体や論文集、単独の論文あるいは単行本といった中からもっとも適切な形態を選択し、近く具体的な公表を行う予定である。
