The development of white biotechnology requires degradation of biomass using biocatalysts. The cellulosome, which is produced by many cellulolytic gram-positive anaerobic bacteria, efficiently degrades plant cell wall polysaccharides. Proteome analysis of the C. cellulovoranscellulosome after culture in various carbon sources demonstrated the production of carbon source-adapted cellulosome components.
