Synthetic studies and SAR of the structurally complex indole diterpenes showing strong insecticidal activities

吲哚二萜类化合物具有诱人的生物活性，如杀虫、有丝分裂抑制和抗MRSA活性。因此，这些化合物的合成研究和化学供给可以解决其作用机理，为化学生态学、细胞生物学、医学等多种生物学的发展做出贡献。但是，由于这一系列天然产物结构复杂，合成难度较大。在这项研究中，我们开发了一种有效的方法来构建吲哚地特平骨架，并实现了帕斯帕林和孕激素受体激动剂ecanindole D的全合成。

Indole diterpenes are known to possess intriguing biological activity such as insecticidal, mito-inhibitory, and anti-MRSA activities. Therefore, synthetic studies and chemical supply of these compounds could solve the mechanism of action and contribute to development of various biology such as chemical ecology, cell biology, medicinal science. But, it was difficult to synthesis this family of natural products due to their complex structures. In this study, we have developed an efficient method to construct the indole diterpine framework and achieved total synthesis of paspalinine, a tremorgenic alkaloid, and lecanindole D, a progesterone receptor agonist.
