本研究は、従来「通俗道徳」の「思想」としてしか評価されてこなかった石門心学を、「道徳文化」とみなし、その「実践」との関わりを解明することを通じて、石門心学の歴史的意義を読みなおすものである。そうした目的を達成するために, 今年、石門心学がその教えを簡潔に広めるために採用した、「施印」という一枚刷りのジャンルについて研究を行った。その成果として、とくに以下の二点があげられる。①施印の仮目録の作成。鶴舞中央図書館所蔵「施印薮」、旧石川謙文庫(現在横浜国立大学所蔵)「施印集」をはじめ、中央都立図書館所蔵「はりまぜ」、史料編纂所所蔵の「風刺行列附等」など現存する「施印」の資料調査を行い、そのデータを整理し、仮目録をつくった。一枚摺であるという理由から、施印の現存率は低く、また図書館目録に登録されないことも多い。写本やスクラップブックに断片的に残っている状態が、研究の大きな妨げとなっている。施印の目録は、施印の施主や流通ネットワークを明らかにするための前提であるだけでなく、近世の出版文化の研究のためにも基礎作業であった。②丙午迷信を打破する運動のなかで、「丙午歳生れ子のさとし書」という施印が果たした役割を明らにした。丙午迷信に関わるほかの施印(「丙午の歳に誕生の諭書」「丙丁瑣言」「庚申丙午悟弁」など)と書籍(『丙午弁』『丙午明弁』『弁惑篇』『丙午の歳に誕生の諭草』『丙丁炯戒録』など)の分析を踏まえて、「丙午歳生れ子のさとし書」の影響はかなり大きかったことがわかった。実際庶民における丙午迷信をとうてい打破できなかったことは明らかであるが、「丙午歳生れ子のさとし書」にあらわれる、迷信に対するスタンスとレトリックが大いに受けつがれた。「施印」というのは、研究で軽視されがちなジャンルであるが、その発信力・影響力が少なくなかったことを示した本研究は、そういった従来のスタンスを改めるものである。

This study aims to clarify the relationship between "popular morality" and "thought","morality culture" and "practice", and to clarify the significance of the history of Shimen thought. This year, Shimen Xinxue has achieved its goal of teaching simplicity, adopting "Shiyin" and studying it. The results are as follows: 1. Creation of the printed catalogue. "Shiyoku" by Tsurumai Central Library,"Shiyoku Collection" by Ken Ishikawa Library (now Yokohama National University),"Shiyoku" by Chuo Metropolitan Library,"Satire Line Attachment" by Historical Materials Compilation Institute,"Shiyoku Collection" by Shiyoku Library,"Shiyoku Collection" by Shiyoku Library,"Shiyoku Collection" by Historical Materials Compilation Institute,"Shiyoku Collection" by Shiyoku Library. A fold is printed with a low rate of existence and a high number of entries in the library catalogue. This article is about the status of the fragment, the research and development. The basic work of the study of modern publishing culture is to study the contents and circulation of printing materials. (2) In the afternoon of the third day, the movement of superstition was broken, and the book of the third day was printed.
