1. 本研究は、クラスター・ランダム化試験デザインの地域介入研究であり、コミュニティ・ワイド・キャンペーンが、地域在住の中高年者の身体活動量増加につながるのか検証を行った。2. 今年度は、これまでの調査データを統合し、計4,559人、3時点分のデータ・ベースを整備した上で、医学統計専門家との協議を重ね、地域介入研究の分析を進めた。研究実施地の自治体では、4年後追跡評価(平成26年10月予定)に向けて介入が継続されており、5月と10月に現地で戦略会議を行ったほか、定期的なインターネット会議を実施した。また、会議と合わせて住民組織の活動にも参加し、協力体制の強化と活動支援を行った。研究を全国的に展開させるため、本研究の対象地域以外での地域介入の支援も行い、現地視察や研究会議に参加した。3. 本研究の成果として、地域介入の短期的効果(1年後評価)を検証した論文がInternational Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activityに掲載された。また、本研究を通して集積されたポピュレーション戦略に関する知見は総説論文としてまとめられ、体育学研究と運動疫学研究、老年社会科学に掲載された。4. 平成25年12月からは、研究を発展させるために海外渡航し、米国ハーバード大学医学大学院にて研究を行った。受入研究者であるI-Min Lee教授のもと、これまでの研究成果を論文化するとともに、今後の研究の方向性について議論を進めた。海外渡航後、ベースラインのデータを用いて既に1本身体活動に関する論文を執筆し、投稿を済ませた。5. 本研究により、身体活動促進のポピュレーション戦略に関する地域介入研究のデザイン・介入内容・効果検証の方法論が整理され、短期的効果に関するエビデンスが明らかになった。

1. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of geographic intervention on physical activity in middle-aged and elderly residents. 2. This year, the survey was conducted in an integrated manner, with a total of 4,559 people, three points of time, and a review of the agreement between the medical statistics department and the regional intervention study The local government of the research and implementation area will conduct a follow-up review after 4 years (scheduled for October 2016), and the local strategy meeting will be held in May and October. The results of this study are presented in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity. This study focuses on the study of physical education, sports epidemiology and geriatric social sciences. 4. In December 2015, research was conducted at the University of Michigan Medical College. Professor I-Min Lee's research achievements are discussed in terms of culture and direction of future research. After the overseas voyage, the article will be published and submitted. 5. This study aims to clarify the relationship between physical activity promotion and intervention content, methodology and short-term results of regional intervention studies.
