项目摘要

本研究は、中国農村の隔世家族の実態と構造を明らかにし、途上型・農村型の福祉のあり方を検討するために、河南省、河北省、北京市、浙江省、甘粛省の農村地域の高齢者に対し、家族構造、養老意識、ソーシャルネットワーク、年金など社会保障についてインタビュー調査とアンケート調査を行った。また、福祉供給側の民政担当者、社区（コミュニティ）に対してインタビュー調査を行った。このようなドライアンジュレーションの調査を通じて、（１）隔世家族の形成要因、特に先行研究が軽視されてきた主体的要因、すなわち当事者の戦略と世代間関係の変容を明らかにした。（２）祖父母と孫から離れた農民工の生活実態と育児意識、養老意識を明らかにし、地理的空間を超えた隔世家族のネットワーク構造を明らかにした。（３）ポスト隔世家族期、すなわちエンプティーネスト（empty nest）の高齢者の養老の実態と社区（コミュニティ）による福祉供給の実態を明らかにした。（４）中央政府、地方政府、社区、住民（高齢者）の立体的な調査と分析を通じて、中国の福祉政策の「社会主義的統合」の特徴と問題点を明らかにし、その問題を克服するために日本の地域福祉計画の有効性を提言した。（５）中国農村の地域格差が非常に大きいため、一人あたりGDPの順位が上、中の上、中の下、下と四つの発展段階を考慮した調査を通じて、途上型・農村型の高齢化社会の福祉ミックスの多様性を明らかにし、東アジア型福祉社会論と福祉ミックス論の理論枠組みの精緻化に一定の成果を示した。
