前年度までと同様、中近世能楽界の実態究明を目的として、各地の能楽資料と歴史資料を調査した。具体的な調査対象は以下の通りである。(1)名古屋市蓬左文庫：尾張藩の能楽関係資料『宝生流心得書』『謡本（金春流）』『宝生流謡曲秘書』『公儀御能組』『尾張家御能見聞録』、尾張藩主の記録『日記』（尾州茶屋町文書、元禄八年～明和四年）等、30点64冊。(2)宮城県図館伊達文庫：仙台藩の能楽関係資料『桜井安澄芸道伝授状』『芸道伝授書出』『宇治千代吉家譜書上』『秘曲集』『御能御囃子組』等、26点79冊。(3)熊本大学附属図書館：熊本藩の能楽関係資料『御入国御祝御能一件』『中将御拝任御祝御能一件』『御家督御祝御囃子一件帳』『御家督御礼御能一巻』、熊本藩主の記録『御在府日記』『白金御役所旧記抄出』等、20点30冊。(4) 対馬藩の藩政文書『江戸藩邸毎日記』（マイクロフィルム）。(5)法政大学能楽研究所所蔵の資料や、県史・市史・史料集等。従来の研究では地方能楽史については断片的な事柄しか知られていなかったが、当調査により、能番組や四座役者との交流記録等、能楽史に関わる具体的な記録を見出すことができた。また本年は、集めたデータの解読・整理・分析に重点を置いた。その成果の一部はフランス・ストラスブール大学で2014年10月15日～17日に開催された国際シンポジウム「演劇性―西洋と東洋―」で発表する運びとなっていたが、体調不良により渡航できなかったことが反省される。現在は、早稲田大学学術叢書による単行本の出版に向けて研究結果の論文化を進めている段階であり、研究期間終了後も学会発表や論文執筆を通じて積極的に成果還元を行う予定である。
