For silicon resin used for maxillofacial prosthesis materials, a foreign products had been used until recently. However, since this foreign products have become unavailable in Japan, the development of new silicon resin product is ongoing in Japan. Thus, it was necessary to compare the characteristics between previously used foreign silicon resign and newly developed one.The results suggested that color difference was observed between previously used silicon resin and newly developed one even the same amounts of silicon resin and pigment were used.
