Induction of Differentiation into Vascular Endothelial Cells by FGF-2 on Cells Derived from Periodontal Ligament

本研究的目的是研究牙周韧带细胞是否具有由FGF-2分化成血管内皮细胞的能力。TesPDL3细胞使用抗KDR/Flk-1抗体表达KDR/Flk-1 VEGF-A受体。FGF-2培养TesPDL3细胞后，收集所有RNA， RT-PCR检测。vWF和KDR/Flk-1表达均升高。用VEGF-A培养TesPDL3细胞，与其他细胞相比，细胞生长明显。结论TesPDL3细胞可能具有被FGF-2分化为内皮细胞的潜力，而未分化的牙周韧带细胞能够分化为血管内皮细胞样细胞。

The purpose of the present study was to investigate whether the cells derived from periodontal ligament have the ability to differentiate a vascular endothelial cell by FGF-2. The TesPDL3 cells were expressed KDR/Flk-1 that VEGF-A receptors using anti KDR/Flk-1 antibodies. After the TesPDL3 cells were cultured with FGF-2, all RNA were collected and measured by RT-PCR. Expression of vWF and KDR/Flk-1 were increased both. The TesPDL3 cells were cultured with VEGF-A and showed significant cell growth compared with other cells. The conclusion that the TesPDL3 cells may have the potential to differentiate into endothelial cells by FGF-2, and undifferentiated cells derived periodontal ligament able to differentiate into vascular endothelial-cell-like cells.
