The measurement of SVOC concentrations on floor in house and risk assessment

this study was developed measurement method to measure the concentration of SVOCs on surface PVC flooring and investigated the concentration of SVOCs on floor in houses. Besides, some building products was tested the emission rate of SVOC by micro-chamber. DEHP on surface of the floor was detected a high concentration than other plasticizers. I confirmed that eliminating all DEHP from the surface of the flooring is nearly impossible, even if the accumulated house dust is vacuumed. Children are more likely to come into direct contact with flooring. Further investigation will be needed to evaluate children`s exposure to DEHP in relation to their behavioral characteristics, including crawling and lying down on the floor.
