Identification of the responsible gene for carnation bacterial wilt resistance

‘Karen Rouge’是从石竹衍生而来的抗青枯病香石竹品种。Anrzejowskanus。为了确定与抗性相关的基因，我们利用‘Karen Rouge’基因组DNA构建了一个BAC(细菌人工染色体)文库，该文库覆盖了大约12个基因组等价物。利用该文库，我们测定了与抗性紧密连锁的标记STS-WG44周围的91,790个核苷酸序列，并鉴定了6个抗性候选基因。

'Karen Rouge' is the carnation cultivar with the bacterial wilt resistance derived from Dianthus capitatus ssp. andrzejowskianus. In order to identify the responsible gene for the resistance, we constructed a BAC (bacterial artificial chromosome) library using 'Karen Rouge' genomic DNA, whose coverage was estimated to be about 12 genome equivalents. By using this library, we determined the 91,790 nucleotide sequence surrounding the marker STS-WG44 that is tightly linked to the resistance, and identified six candidate genes for the resistance.
