Studies on Universal Multimedia Access

为了提供一个多媒体信息，根据用户的（精神和身体）的能力，计算机设备，网络和CPU负载，我们已经构建和评估了一些观光内容支持3个切换功能（用户界面切换，媒体切换，QoS控制）。从功能和性能评估中，我们得出结论：（1）可理解的媒体和易于操作分别与计算机技能和计算机设备不同，（2）媒体切换功能因媒体组合而具有不同的效果，（3）QoS控制功能对视频质量的降低有一定的局限性。

In order to provide a multimedia information according to users' (mental and physical) abilities, computer facilities, network and CPU loads, we have constructed and evaluated some sightseeing contents supporting 3 switching functions (user interface switching, media switching, QoS control). From some functional and performance evaluations, we have concluded that (1) Understandable media and easy operations are different from computer skill and computer facilities, respectively, (2) the media switching function has different efficts by a combination of media, (3) the QoS control function has some limitations for a reduction of video quality.
