项目摘要

本研究の目的は地域間移動と階層間移動を組み合わせた社会移動が個人の意識に与える影響を明らかにすることである。昨年度から引き続き、本年度でも地域間移動と階層間移動について、人々のライフコースという観点から研究を行い、とりわけ若年層のライフコースに注目した。具体的には以下の2つの研究を行った①U・Iターン者の意識に関する論文の執筆：分析の結果、非移動者と比較して、U・Iターン者は幅広い視野を持っていること、Uターン者は地域のためを思っていること、Iターン者は地域への愛着が弱く、伝統に囚われない意識を持っていることを明らかにした。ただし、この結果は主に都道府県境界を越えたU・Iターン者において存在することがわかった。これは、より遠距離の移動を行ったU・Iターン者が異質性を活かした地域活性化に寄与しうることを示唆している。この結果を論文としてまとめ、2017年3月に『年報人間科学』に掲載された。②若年層の意識に関する研究：SSP本体調査（「階層と社会意識研究プロジェクト」研究代表：吉川徹）を用いて若年層における現在志向について分析した。その結果、現在志向が政治委任意識、格差肯定意識に影響を与えていることを明らかにし、さらに低学歴層が現在志向を通して政治委任意識、格差肯定意識を強めていることも明らかにした。現在志向という概念を用いて、声をあげるべき若年層が異議申し立てを行わずおとなしいという現象について、そのメカニズムの一部を明らかにすることができた。この結果を第89回日本社会学会大会にて報告し、好評を得た。また、論文としてもまとめ、2017年7月に『ソシオロジ』に掲載予定である。
