野生的な力学系の研究

本年度はまず京都大学理学部数学教室の浅岡正幸氏や関連する力学系の研究者のグループを訪問し，非双曲型力学系の例である非双曲型の一次元の半群作用に関して，その周期点の増大度に関する研究を行った．この結果は浅岡氏および Imperial College London の Dmitry Turaev 氏との共同研究として論文``Degenerate behavior in non-hyperbolic semigroup actions on the interval: fast growth of periodic points and universal dynamics" にまとめ，現在専門誌に投稿中である．また，京都大学訪問中にこれまでの篠原の研究成果である野生的力学系の分岐に関する研究発表を二件行った．その後，ニュージーランドのオークランドにある The University of Auckland を訪問し，Department of Mathematics の Bernd Krauskopf, Hinke Osinga 氏らのグループと非双曲型力学系を生み出すメカニズムとして重要なブレンダーと呼ばれる構造や，Lorenz 系の非双曲性に関する理論・数値解析的研究に関する打ち合わせを行った．７月から８月にかけてイタリアのトリエステにあるThe Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP)で開かれた "School and Conference in Dynamical Systems"に参加し，非双曲型力学系の最新の研究動向に関して情報収集を行った．また，これまでの篠原の研究成果である非双曲型力学系の極小性に関して講演 "On the minimality of semigroup actions on the interval which are C1-close to the identity" を行い，成果発表を行った．
