最適成長モデルの最適政策関数の微分可能性に関してこれまでに知られている結果は、モデルの効用関数に強い凹性（α凹性）を仮定するものであった。通常の設定の下では、この仮定は最適経路が有界な領域に留まるケースでのみ妥当する。一方で、マクロ経済の中心的な課題の一つは、歴史的に観察されている非有界な成長メカニズムの探求であり、理論と応用の間に大きなギャップがある。微分可能性が保証出来ない場合には、計算経済学の分野で知られている数値誤差評価を使うことができず、モデルに基づく数値予測の信頼性が大きく損なわれることになる。 α凹性を弱めることができれば、既存研究の適用範囲の拡大につながり、応用上の意義が大きい。本研究では、Yiannis Vailakis氏 (University of Glasgow) とFilipe Martins-da-Rocha氏 (Sao Paulo School of Economics, Paris Dauphine University) と共同研究グループを組織し、効用関数のα凹性のもとで政策関数の微分可能性を示した Montrucchio (1998) の理論に、彼らが示した不動点定理を適用することで、負定値なヘッシアンを持つ効用関数であれば、最適政策関数が微分可能性を持つことを示した。論文投稿には至らなかったが、重要な研究成果を得ることができた。前年度から引き続き研究しているテーマについていくつかのセミナー報告、学会報告を行った。単調比較静学の理論に基づく政策関数の微分可能性について、1件の学内セミナー報告と1件の学会報告を行った。技術革新の応用マクロモデルに関して古川雄一教授(中京大学)との共同研究について、1件の学内セミナー報告を行った。　また、非線形経済動学に関する論文が、矢野誠・古川雄一編著『市場の質と現代経済』勁草書房に掲載された。
