项目摘要

本年度は、出産育児に係る研究中断を経た研究再開準備支援期間として研究と育児とを並行して行うための研究基盤の確保や研究スタイルを模索しながら研究を進めてきた。当初予定していた海外でのフィールドワークや海外の学会での発表を断念し、国内にとどまりながら研究を遂行し、今後の海外での学会発表や調査研究活動のための準備に専念することとした。捻出した時間の範囲内でできる限り研究を進めるべく以下の研究内容を遂行した。本年度行った研究は主に以下の二点に集約できる。一点目が、昨年度末に刊行した単著『沈黙の医療――スリランカ伝承医療における言葉と診療』(風響社・2017年)に寄せられたコメントをもとに、これまでの研究に不足していた視点や見直すべき点、また、さらに掘り下げて検討すべき点などを明確化し、今後の人類学的研究の方向性を検討した。本年度行った主な研究の二つ目は、本研究の英語による発表のための準備作業である。本研究は、近く英語での出版を念頭に置いているが、本研究を英語で発表するにあたり、海外の学会でも通用するよう引用文献や議論を精査しなおす必要がある。英語で出版された本研究の業績として本年度中に具体的な形で成果発表する段階に達することができなかったが、今後継続して取り組む予定である。また、昨年度出版した単著の英訳も予定している。

This year, the research of the production system was interrupted, and the preparation period of the research was resumed. The results of this study will be published in English. Specific results will be presented in the current year. Last year's publication was scheduled for October.
