项目摘要

本研究は、１）造園空間の来歴を明らかにする歴史研究と、２）多義的な機能を持つ空間の評価手法の構築の２つのパートから構成されている。特に、神社に着目している点に特色がある。１）の歴史研究については、造園学の構築の原点であり、神社界の接点でもある明治神宮を転換点としてとらえ、近代における公共造園空間の計画思想の広がりと神社の関係について確認することを課題と設定している。昨年度までの研究で疑義が見いだされた通説の再検討を深化させ、1930年に田村剛、上原敬二にそれぞれ策定された金剛山国立公園計画を事例として、国立公園行政を構築した田村剛の計画思想では社寺などの歴史文化資源を国立公園の主資源としない点を明らかにした。この成果を査読誌「ランドスケープ研究」に投稿・採択されている。ただし、国立公園の性格上、政治社会的背景が計画思想や空間的実践へも大きく影響するため、国立公園の成立を取り巻く政官関係を分析する必要が生じた。この成果をまとめ、現在査読誌へ投稿中である。２）多義的空間の評価手法の構築については、本研究では、空間計画へ転用するために、人々の空間への評価をいかに把握するかという点を課題と設定している。この課題に対して、明治の森高尾国定公園を対象地として、昨年度より進めてきたGISやGPSなどの空間情報技術を用いた風景評価把握手法の展開を行ってきた。本年度は、2014年11月に実施したオンサイト実験調査で得たデータを取りまとめ、査読誌へ投稿・採択された。2015年5月、9月にもオンサイト実験調査を実施しており、現在取りまとめ・論文執筆中である。人々の空間への評価をオンサイトで把握する手法について構築することができた。
