项目摘要

本研究は、2000年代初頭以降のフランスに登場した、旧植民地出身移民とその子孫による個人的かつ集合的な〈記憶の営み〉（文化・芸術的実践を通した過去の「発見」・名付け・構築・主張から成るプロセス）を、戦後の反人種差別運動の系譜に位置付け分析した。パリ市近郊とトゥールーズ市に拠点を置く2つのアソシエーションでの参与観察と聞き取り調査で得たデータと収集資料から、活動の軌跡を辿ることで、両団体とメンバーたちが〈記憶の営み〉に至る歴史的プロセスを考察した。本研究の意義は、これまで「承認の政治」の枠組みで解釈されがちだった、旧植民地出身移民による「記憶（や歴史）」についての主張が、その枠組みに収まらないことを明らかにした点にある。すなわち「記憶」は、新たな集合行為の担い手の登場や仏社会における人種主義の形態の変化という社会・政治的文脈に対応する形で、①（住居・教育・雇用の平等などをめぐる）社会的闘争としての反人種差別運動の新たな資源（主体性・集合的アイデンティティの構築および運動への動員の資源）と捉えられる一方で、②歴史（学）に根ざした知的アリーナにおける反人種差別という、ポストコロニアルで歴史的闘争の側面も持ち、③これらが、普遍主義と統合というフランス社会の支配的言説への対抗言説として登場した「当事者性」の自覚と主張に密接に関わっていることが明らかになった。実際、①に関しては試験的な形ながら少数の経験的研究が示してきた。また②に関しては「記憶の差別」や「エピステーメの暴力」への抵抗の観点から理論的検討がなされてきた。これらを踏まえたうえでの本研究の独自性は、②を経験的に分析し、①と②が「当事者性」の概念のもとに接合される可能性を提起した点、さらにジェンダー（インターセクショナリティ）視点を取りれることで、女性のアクターに特有の「記憶」との関わりを明らかにした点にある。
