1.仮設住宅閉鎖期における空間及びコミュニティのマネジメント研究1－1. 阪神・淡路大震災と中越地震の事例調査：関連資料収集、インタビュー調査を行った。前者では居住者が少数になっても仮設住宅の集約は殆ど実施されず、そのことがコミュニティ維持を困難なものにし団地内治安の低下につながり、後者では仮設住宅の集約が行われたが、閉鎖期の仮設住宅から仮設住宅への引っ越しは心理的な負担となったことが明らかになった。1－2.東北三県の現状調査：被災市町村の訪問や各自治体が発信する情報の収集から把握した。仮設住宅を建設した東北三県39市町村のうち15市町村が仮設住宅を閉鎖し集約する方針を示し、中でも釜石市と大船渡市は閉鎖方針の基本的な考え方と具体的な閉鎖時期の計画案を発表していた。そこで釜石市担当者へインタビューを実施した結果、被災者の反応は総論賛成各論要調整であることがわかった。本研究計画を策定した2013年に想定した状況よりも、現在の復興の進捗は全体的にやや遅れている。2.陸前高田市における高齢者向け復興住宅の計画支援および実践研究2－1.定例ワークショップ：2013年度からスタッフや地元高齢者を対象にワークショップを開いてきたが、本年度も引き続き2か月に１度程度の頻度で開催し意見を収集した。その過程で用途計画がサ高住だけでなく、デイサービスセンター（以下DS）と訪問介護事業所を併設するという計画へ変化していった。2－2. 既存DSの利用者とスタッフの使われ方調査：上述のような計画変更のため、居住者の住まい方調査に類するDSの使われ方調査を前倒しして行った。調査方法は非参与型の行動観察で、利用者数が同数程度の平日のうち2日間を選定し、調査員2名体制で実施した。結果、利用者数に対して狭いこと（特に浴室）、狭いなりに家具を使った上手い設え、一斉午睡の習慣などが特徴として挙げられた。
