平成27年度は、以下の研究活動を行った。なお、都市内菜園の多様な運営主体がみられる研究対象地として、ニュージーランドのクライストチャーチ市を対象地として追加した。ステップ【１】：運営スキームの解明　クライストチャーチ市における都市内菜園の事例のうち、公的主体が関与し住民が設立・運営しているものと、私的主体が独立して設立・運営したものについて、関係者に運営方法に関する聞き取り調査を行った。特に、前者について、無償で働く人々がどのように運営するかを調べるため、約４週間、週当たり４日の間、調査地を訪れたすべての参加者に、菜園との関わりについて質問紙調査を行った。さらに、深く関与している人物を選抜し、聞き取り調査を行った。菜園運営者による、参加者の記録も集計した。これらの調査により、特に公的主体が関与し住民が設立・運営しているタイプの都市内菜園について、いかなる人物が、いかに関与して、運営されているかが明らかになった。オーストリア・グラーツ市においては、公的主体が関与せず、個人が独力で運営している事例の運営スキームを、運営者への聞き取り調査で明らかにした。ドイツ・ミュンヘン市においては、私的な教育団体が運営している事例の運営スキームを、運営者への聞き取り調査で明らかにした。ステップ【２】：運営スキームが展開されている地域・土地の解明　クライストチャーチ市における都市内菜園の事例を、Canterbury Community Gardens Association提供の情報およびヒアリングによって把握し、全事例をマッピングした。一方で、日本において都市内菜園が展開されうる土地を、空閑地の発生に関連付けて明らかにした。ステップ【３】：運営スキームの評価・運営論の提示　ステップ【１】の達成により、前年度に明らかにした日野市のコミュニティガーデンの運営スキームとの比較が可能となった。
