ラオス人民党は1960年代から解放区で社会主義的な経済・文化体制の建設に取り組んでおり、その経験が人民民主共和国での国家運営に活かされた、という昨年度の研究成果を踏まえ、本年度は解放区の成立過程とそれへのベトナム労働党の関与を分析した。上半期は、昨年度に収集したラオス語資料、ベトナム共産党の『党文献全集』の分析を進めた。特に、ラオス人民党中央委員会総会決議の分析を重視した。先行研究では1954年のジュネーブ会議の意義が強調され、それ以降のパテート・ラオ勢力の支配地域が「解放区」として一括りにされてきたが、人民党が「解放区」という表現を用いるようになったのは1960年9月のサムヌア解放以降であり、「解放区」での活動方針、それを巡るベトナム労働党やラオス王国政府との関係性は大きな振幅を見せて変動していたことを明らかにした。2月20日～3月21日の約1か月、ラオスでの再調査を実施した。カイソーン博物館、国立社会科学院資料室、ベトナム文化センターでの資料調査を主とし、短期でのラオス中・南部の視察(2月26日から3月2日)を行った。中・南部調査では、ラオス・北ベトナム間の主要幹線道路であった国道8・12号線の沿線、ホーチミン・ルートの沿線において、戦時下の状況に関する聞き取りを行った。研究成果は、2015年11月28日に開催された2015年度第5回東南アジア学会関東例会において「社会主義国家建設の準備過程におけるラオス人民党の政治的主体性：1960年代半ばの『解放区国家化政策』とベトナムとの『特別な関係』」として報告した。また、「パテート・ラオの『自立』の模索：解放区成立期(1950‐1960)におけるラオス人民党の政策の変遷過程」とする単独の論文を仕上げ、来年度初旬の学術誌への投稿を予定している。
