项目摘要

統語・意味情報をタグ付けした中国語コーパスの構築という一般的な観点から、中国語の各構文を対象に、その統語・意味解析を考察し続けながら、今まで決めてきた幾つかの中国語構文の解析法を修正していた。本研究は、中国語の連体修飾節構文の解析法が決められるように、その統語・意味解析を考察した。具体的には、連体修飾節構文を関係節構文および同格節構文に大別し、しかも関係節構文に対して、主要部終端型、主要部先導型および名詞的関係節という三つの下位カテゴリーも付与した。この分類に基づき、本研究は、各種類の連体修飾節構文について、その統語解析と意味解析をそれぞれ順次考察した。これによって、中国語連体修飾節構文の解析がシステマティックに行われるようになり、連体修飾節構文に含まれる統語・意味情報も形式的に捉えられるようになった。また、考察した構文の数が増えていくにつれて、解析の一貫性が如何に保てるかという課題も出てきた。例えば、中国語は語順が種々に変化する言語であるため、文頭に来る要素は沢山の可能性が存在する。能動文の場合、文の最初に来られるのは主語あるいは主題のどちらかであるというのは統語論の一般的な規約である。しかし、本研究は、文の統語と意味の両方を処理しており、この枠組みの中では、文頭に来る要素を主語と主題以外のものとして扱わざるを得ないこともある。このような矛盾が解決できるように、本研究は、従来の所謂意味重視的なやり方を廃止し、統語解析結果および意味処理システムに対する修正を行った。その結果、述語の意味役割上の道具を担当していながら文の最初に現れるような要素に対しても、統語解析の段階でそれを文の主語として扱えるようになった。これによって、統語解析と意味解析とのバランスがよりよく取れるようになり、本研究が言語学の研究としての一般性もより多くの研究者に認められるようになると考える。
