本研究は、（１）「資産価格バブルに対するマクロプルーデンス政策の有効性」と（２）「資産価格バブルがインフレ率に与える影響」に関して、申請者の修士課程における研究を延長し、資産価格バブルが発生した状況においていかなる政策判断が望ましいかを分析するものである。まず、（１）の研究については、当該期間において、今まで証明に成功していた解析内容を論文にまとめると同時に、より一般的な状況への議論の拡張を図り、数値的なシミュレーションを用いることで主張をより頑健にすることに成功した。具体的には、バブルの規模が比較的に小さい状況下でもマクロプルーデンス政策が経済厚生を改善するという結果を得ることができ、これによっていかなる規模のバブルにおいても、マクロプルーデンス政策の有効性を主張することができるようになった。また、小規模バブルにおける政策の効果波及経路は、従来の政策の有効性を主張する理論とは異なる点があるため、この点でも新しい示唆を得ることができたといえる。（２）の研究に関しては、修士論文の段階で、価格が伸縮的に動く場合においてはバブルがインフレ率の安定をもたらすことがあることを解析的に証明したが、物価が硬直的な場合などより現実的かつ一般的な状況においても、同様の結果が得られるということを証明することに成功した。これはバブルが発生した（と思われる）場合における金融政策のタイミングを最適に決定する際に基盤となる理論研究であり、政策的な貢献度は非常に大きい。今後は、セミナーなどで報告を行い、様々な方面からの意見を頂き、来年以降の国際ジャーナルへの投稿への準備に取り掛かる予定である。
