项目摘要

本年度は一昨年度、および昨年度に行った、イスラーム型動産担保貸付（Ar-Rahnu）に関する調査およびそこに基づく発表へのコメントをもとにしつつ、博士課程での研究の集大成として博士学位論文の執筆・提出を行った（11月提出）。同時に博士学位論文のなかで、マレーシアにおけるアンケート調査の結果をもとにした一章分について、その内容を9月に京都大学で開催された、イスラーム経済・金融をテーマとする国際会議（11th Kyoto-Durham International Workshop in Islamic Economics and Finance）で発表した。そこで、自らの研究領域であるイスラーム金融研究の第一線で活躍する英国ダラム大学の研究者たちに、議論のフレームワークからデータの扱い方まで質問、コメントをいただき、研究のブラッシュアップを行った。上記の会議で発表した内容やそこから得た知見を含め、マレーシアの信用制度におけるAr-Rahnuの役割を明らかにした論考を学術雑誌『イスラーム世界研究』に投稿・発表した（2018年3月発行）。また、2018年2月には、早稲田大学で開催されたグローバル関係学若手研究者報告会において博士学位論文の核となる内容を発表した。その発表に対して、主に国内で活躍するイスラーム地域研究・東南アジア研究者から、研究上のアドバイスや手法に関するコメントをいただき、今後の研究にとって指針ともなる知見を得た。今後、博士学位論文のなかの、ブルネイ・ダルサラームのイスラーム銀行業と開発に関する一章分の内容を、アジア政経学会の学会誌『アジア研究』へ投稿する予定である。
