项目摘要

本年度は8月に第二子を出産したため、産前産後の身体状況の中で子育てをしつつ、可能な限りの研究活動を行った。第一に、『世界』(2015年8月号)に執筆した「日中戦争における対日協力者の記憶」論文を大幅に加筆訂正し、英訳を行った。翻訳を年度内に終えるため、一部の訳と訳出部分の校閲を翻訳会社に依頼した。同英語論文は将来的に国際的な学会誌に投稿する予定である。第二に、論文「社会主義中国における歴史実践―山西省農村部でのオーラルヒストリー調査を通して」を執筆した。年度内に執筆を終えられなかったため現在も執筆中である。同論文は記憶研究のために行ったオーラルヒストリーのインタビューを、農民たちの「歴史実践」として読み直すものであり、執筆を通して、中国山西省の農民が紡ぐミクロの口述史が多様な学問的可能性を有しており、今後新しい歴史学的な視点を吸収することで、その国際的で学際的な広がりを明確なものにしていけることを再確認した。第三に、国際共同研究のための渡英準備を行った。2018年3月15日より英国オックスォード大学オリエンタル学科へ1年間の訪問研究を開始したが、事前に英語圏の歴史研究を吸収するための土台となり得る資料及び書籍を読み込んだ。その中で羽田正編著『グローバルヒストリーと東アジア史』は、英語、中国語、ドイツ語、そして日本語圏を包括する最前線の研究内容をまとめており、英語圏の歴史学を取り巻く問題や学問的な問いに触れることができた。また、近年邦訳されたヘイドン・ホワイト『実用的な過去』が論じるPractical Past（実用的な過去）は、物語が歴史性を有することに着目しており、口頭で伝えられる物語やお喋りが如何に記憶やコミュニティを作り出してきたかを問う本研究に新たな論理的視角をもたらすものとなった。
