项目摘要

最終年度である今年度は、ドレフュス事件期における反ユダヤ主義の拡散と地方紙との関係について調査範囲を拡大し検討を行った。加えて、反ユダヤ主義言説がジャーナリズムを通して文学領域に侵入したことを反ユダヤ主義メディアの書評欄から確認し、フランス文学史における「ユダヤ文学」の概念について考察した。また、19世紀末フランスにおける反ユダヤ主義をテーマに、ポーランドのユダヤ研究者を招いた国際研究会でコメントする機会を得た。主に検討したのは次の項目である：1）ナントの共和主義日刊紙『ロワールの灯台』をめぐって、社主モーリス・シュウォブのユダヤ系フランス人としての個人史に着目し、彼の対独感情と愛国心について検討した。2）昨年度から調査を継続しているナントに加え、リヨン、トゥールーズといった都市の有力地方都市における1898年1月の反ユダヤ主義暴動についての報道を収集した。3）反ユダヤ主義日刊紙『リーブル・パロール』書評欄で展開されたユダヤ系フランス人作家へのバッシング記事を糸口として、フランス文学史における「ユダヤ文学」という概念の起源について検討した。成果の公表は以下の通り論文2報、口頭発表（コメンテーターとしての報告含む）4本である：論文1「カーアンの末裔」（『AZUR』）、論文2『フランスにおける「ユダヤ文学」』（『フランス語フランス文学研究』）。発表1「モーリス・シュウォブにみるユダヤ系フランス人の愛国心」（成城大学フランス語フランス文化研究会）、発表2「ユダヤ人とフランス文学」（日本フランス語フランス文学会）、発表3"Anti-Semitisme in France during the Late 19th Century"（国際研究会「両次大戦間におけるポーランド・ユダヤ関係」）、発表4「マルセル・シュウォブとイギリス文学」（日本フランス語フランス文学会関東支部会）
