本年度はまず以下二つの口頭発表を行った。2017年8月6日にJapan Studies University of Washington主催のワークショップ「 Looking Back at the 1980s and 1990s / Imaging the Future of Japanese Studies」で研究発表を行った。題目は「”Congratulations on your destruction” ――Ito Hiromi‘s Killing Kanoko, Eugenics, and Motherhood in the 1980s」。この発表は研究の目的における翻訳論、引用論の展開に関わる。詩「カノコ殺し」に引用されたテクストについて80年代の日本におけるリプロダクティブ・ヘルス／ライツと文学の関係から考察した。また、2017年12月9日に昭和文学会第61回研究集会で「伊藤比呂美の詩における「引用」と「声」」を発表した。発表は研究実施計画に記載のジャンル論、引用論の展開の成果である。詩「叫苦と魂消る」は伊藤が詩のなかに古典文学を本格的に取り入れた最初のものであることから引用の方法について具体的な検証を行った。論文としては「伊藤比呂美『テリトリー論２』の問題系」を『語文』2018年3月25日発行に発表した。この論文は引用論の展開から発展した成果である。『テリトリー論２』は伊藤の「引用」の方法が確立した分岐点に位置することから、その分析を通して引用の方法やテーマについて検証した。また「伊藤比呂美「叫苦と魂消る」を注釈的に読む」を『昭和文学研究』に投稿し、現在査読中。論文ではジャンル論、引用論の展開について具体的に検証した。複数テクストからの引用で構成された特異な詩の分析を通して現代詩においてインターテクスチュアリティがどのように実践されているのかを検証した。
