今年度も引き続き、AdS5×S^5上の超弦理論と4次元時空上のN=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills理論との対応であるAdS5/CFT4対応を理解するために、可積分性を用いたアプローチによる研究に従事してきた。前年度までの研究では特に、CFT側のN=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills理論におけるWilson loop上に挿入された演算子の相関関数の計算について研究してきた。即ち、可積分性を用いて如何にしてその相関関数を計算するか、という問いに対して定式化を試みた。その結果、私は海外の共同研究者と共に一つの方法を提案した[JHEP 11 (2017) 116]。この結果は、AdS側では開弦の相関関数に対応するが、この量についての計算方法を定式化したのは我々が初めてであり、その意義は大きい。今年度の研究では、私はその可積分性を用いて提案した方法をより深く理解することに努めた。前提として、我々の考えているセットアップの弱結合領域における量は、摂動論と呼ばれる可積分性を用いない方法においても計算することができる。そこで、両方法による定式化を弱結合領域の元で計算し、比較した[JHEP 02 (2019) 090]。この仕事による意義の一つに、我々の提案した定式化をより強固にできたことがある。二つ目に、可積分を用いた方法と用いない方法の間にある差異に対して、一つの重要な事実を発見することができたことがある。
