项目摘要

今年度は三つの内容を中心に研究を展開していた。第一に、敗戦後、特に講和論争から安保改定までの日本的現実主義を検討した。当時の論壇における外交論争を顧みて、小泉信三、福田恆存、林健太郎ら「保守派」の議論から「現実主義」が誕生した経緯を解明したと同時に、「進歩派」と「保守派」が持っていた共通理解を指摘した。第二に、1960年代を中心に、安保改定から日中国交正常化までの日本的現実主義を考察した。高坂正堯、永井陽之助ら「現実主義者」の国際政治思想とともに、彼らの外交政策論と「進歩派」のそれとの相違を明らかにした。第三に、カーやモーゲンソーが掲げた古典的リアリズムとの比較分析によって、上記の二つの時期の日本的現実主義の特徴と位置づけを解明した。研究成果として、（1）「戦後日本現実主義国際政治思想的原点：日本型現実主義析論（戦後日本国際政治思想における現実主義の原点：日本的現実主義に関する一考察）」（中国社会科学院『日本学刊』2018年第2号）、（2）「戦後国際政治思想としての日本的現実主義の原点：講和論争から安保改定まで（一）（二）」（京都大学『法学論叢』184巻1号、184巻4号）、（3）「二戦後日本現実主義国際政治思想的崛起：以20世紀60年代為中心（戦後日本国際政治思想における現実主義の台頭：1960年代を中心に）」（南開大学『南開日本研究2018』）という三つの論文を公表した。そして、これまでの研究成果をまとめ、加筆・修正したうえで、「戦後国際政治思想としての日本的現実主義の原点と台頭：敗戦から日中国交正常化まで（1945－1972）」と題する博士学位請求論文を京都大学法学研究科に提出した。論文審査・口頭試問を経て、平成31年3月25日に京都大学に博士学位（法学）を授与された。将来の課題として、日中国交正常化以降の日本的現実主義を考察する予定である。

This year's three core research projects are underway. First, after the defeat, special talks and disputes, security changes, and Japan's current principles are discussed. At the forum at that time, there were many diplomatic debates, such as the discussions of "conservatives" by Shinzo Koizumi, Tsuneo Fukuda, and Kentaro Hayashi, and the birth of "realism". At the same time, the "progressives" and "conservatives" shared a common understanding. Second, in the 1960s, the central government and security reform were carried out in Japan, and the normalization of diplomatic relations in China and Japan were investigated. Masayoshi Takasaka and Yosuke Nagai are "modernist" in international political thought and "progressive" in foreign policy theory. Third, the characteristics and position of Japanese modernism in the period of the above two records are explained by comparative analysis of the classical literature.
