项目摘要

本年度は、2本の論文を発表した。1本目は、北宋の慶暦年間に流行した「太学新体」の特徴及びその成立過程について考察を行ったものである。「太学新体」の成立に、現在の山東地方周辺の出身者が関係している点に着目し、当時政界の中枢へと進出していた彼らの文化的特質が、政治において積極的に議論を行う点にあることや、その特質と「太学新体」の特徴との間に明確な共通点が認められること等を指摘し、「太学新体」の成立と全国的な広まりの背景について、新たな見方を提示した。本研究の内容は、中国の大学で開催された学会において口頭発表も行った。2本目は、北宋の文人欧陽修が、古代の遺文を収集、整理した『集古録』という書物の目録に付すために作った序文を取り上げ、詳しく分析を施すことで、当初誰からも顧みられることの無かった遺文の価値や、それらを収集する自らの行為の意義を、彼が如何に人々に伝えようとしたかを考察したものである。これにより、古文家としての姿勢にも通ずる彼の金石学者としての活動のあり方について、その一端を明らかにすることができた。また本年度は、日本の学会においても研究発表を行った。中唐の韓愈を中心とする一派は、「書不尽言、言不尽意」という中国の伝統的言語観に対し、ことばは世界の実相や主体者の思考、情感を詳細かつ正確に言い尽くすことができると信じて作品を作った。北宋の欧陽脩は、詩歌においては韓愈等のこの新たな言語観を継承しつつも、文では物事の細部までは表現し得ないという考えの下で創作を行った。本発表では、欧陽脩に見られる「言不尽意」と「言尽意」の2つの言語観について、詩風と文風が異なる慶暦期の作品を中心に、韓愈文学の受容という視点を絡めつつ、考察した結果を述べた。
