项目摘要

本年度は、（１）戦後ドイツの医学界および遺伝学界における精神障碍者に対する差別意識の持続性に関する研究、（２）強制断種被害者の被差別経験に関する研究、それぞれにおいて成果があった。（１）医学界において精神障碍者に対する認識がどのように変容したか（或いはしなかったのか）を解明するため、申請者は初年度より、戦後ドイツ医学界および遺伝学界において根強く提唱されていた断種再開論に関する調査を進めてきた。前年度においては、断種再開論の主唱者であったハンス・ナハツハイムを中心に、当時社会的地位と影響力を持っていた遺伝学者や医師らが、精神障碍者に対する断種についてどのように議論してきたのかを検討した。しかしその過程では、戦後西ドイツにおける断種不妊手術の法規制の状況が曖昧かつ複雑であることが問題点として浮き彫りになった。遺伝学者や医師たちは、そうした状況を前提として断種に関する議論を行っていたため、彼らの議論をより深く理解するためには、断種不妊手術をめぐる法規制の変遷を整理することが必須である。そのため本年度は、戦後ドイツ（1990年までは西ドイツ）において、断種不妊手術が法的にどのように規制されていたのかを解明し、論文として刊行した（紀愛子、戦後ドイツにおける不妊手術に関する法規制の変遷、西洋史論叢、第42号（2020年12月）、47-63頁）。（２）強制断種被害者および「安楽死」犠牲者遺族の被差別経験に関する調査に関しては、新型コロナウイルスの影響でドイツへの渡航が困難であったため、新たな史料の追加は困難であったものの、前年度までに収集した史資料の一部を分析し、ジェンダー史学会シンポジウムにおいて口頭発表を行った（ジェンダー史学会シンポジウム「ナチ・ドイツにおける強制断種と被害者への戦後補償」口頭発表、2020年12月13日）。

This year, there are (1) research on the persistence of differential consciousness among people with mental disorders in the medical and genetic fields,(2) research on the differential consciousness among victims of forced abortion, and other research results.
