本研究では、壬辰戦争後の東アジアにおける国際関係の再編と展開の過程を明らかにするため、①日本軍の朝鮮半島撤退以降の日本の朝鮮・明に対する関係回復の模索と、朝鮮・明側の対応、②琉球侵略と明・朝鮮の反応、③後金の勃興と明・朝鮮の日本への警戒、の三つの課題を掲げたが、昨年度はこれらの課題を区切らずに史料収集・分析を進め、日本の琉球侵略後に、日本人が居留するマカオを抱えている広東で強い危機感を持たれていたことを発見した。その成果を口頭報告したが、報告段階では十分に調査・分析できていない点も多くあったため、本年度は引き続き史料を収集して分析し、論文化する作業を行った。その成果である論文「日本の琉球侵略後の明の対日警戒」では、日本が行った明との直接交渉、琉球ルートの交渉、朝鮮の明への情報提供などがそれぞれどのように連関したのかに着目しながら、日本の琉球侵略後の明側の反応を詳細に明らかにした。本論文を通し、日本・明・琉球の間の問題だけではなく、朝鮮やマカオなどに連鎖する多角的な問題を浮き彫りにし、①・②の課題を中心に、壬辰戦争後の東アジアの国際関係再編の一端を明らかにしたと考える。本論文は『東洋史研究』79巻4号（2021年3月刊行予定）への掲載が決まっている。予定より投稿まで時間がかかってしまったため、これまでの研究の単著化にむけた作業は進展しなかった。本年度で本研究課題は終了するが、今後の課題としたい。また、本年度は8月に韓国中国学会での報告に合わせて渡韓し、国史編纂委員会やソウル大学校奎章閣で関連史料の収集を行った他、『韓中関係史総覧』編集と韓中関係史研究チーム研究会で報告を行い、韓国の研究者と意見を交換した。2・3月にも渡韓し史料収集を行う予定であったが、新型コロナウィルス流行の影響でできなかった。また3月に予定していた海域アジア史研究会での報告も中止となった。

This year's research project has been completed, and future projects have been completed. In August of this year, the Korean China Society conducted a joint report on the collection of historical materials related to the Korean National History Compilation Committee and the University of Korea. He also conducted a report on the compilation of the History of Korea-China Relations and the Study of the History of Korea-China Relations. Korean researchers exchanged opinions.
