项目摘要

本研究の目的は、冷戦期の中独関係を分断国家としての側面を重視して各国の一次史料に基づいて明らかにすることである。本年度は、研究の焦点を主に自由主義陣営内の動きに移した。具体的に、1. 50年代における西独と台湾の関係の構築と変容に着目して調査を行った。2. 対中政策をめぐり、西独と米国の協力関係の実態について調査し考察した。また、最新の先行研究を踏まえ、3.戦後初期の西独・中国の貿易関係について中国側の史資料の発掘・収集を行った。1.台湾の中央研究院近代史研究所で短期の客員研究を行い、同研究院附属の文書館（近代史研究所档案館）を中心に台湾側の対西独関連の外交文書を閲覧・撮影した。その結果、50年代主権を取り戻した西独に対し、台湾国府側からの国交回復（復交）の交渉実態や国府側の外交指針を把握した。2.米国ワシントンにある米国公文書管理局（NARA）と米国議会図書館（LC）を訪問し、昨年度に収集したドイツ側の外交文書を加え、対中政策をめぐる米国と西独の連携・協力の実態に関する公文書を入手した。分析の結果、台湾国府からの要請を受け、米国は西独に対して西独・台湾の国交樹立を呼びかけたことを確認できた。また、対中政策に関して西独側の主体性を発揮し、独自の外交方針を貫いたことを米・西独両国の一次史料を照らし合わせて実証された。得られた結果は、論文としてまとめて発表する予定である。3.50年代後半から、中国・西独の民間貿易が拡大しつつあった。特に自動車関連の工業製品の貿易額が増大した。国営第一自動車グループの本部の所在地である長春市へ足を運び、第一自動車企業文書館及び吉林省文書館で西独との貿易関連の史資料を調査しようとしたが、文書館の利用が制限されたことから満足できる研究活動ができなかった。さらに、令和二年度一月から新型コロナ肺炎の感染拡大を受け、研究活動は大いに影響され諸計画は乱れた。

The purpose of this study is to distinguish the relationship between China and Japan in the cold period and attach importance to the primary historical data of each country. This year, the focus of research is on the movement within the liberal movement. Specifically, 1.
