项目摘要

2021年度は、主に国外（台湾、アメリカ）で研究に励んだ。前半期はコロナ禍の影響で大きく活動を制限され、研究計画の実行に相当な支障が生じたが、後半期からは徐々に研究活動を進めることが可能になった。短期間ではあったものの、国内では前年度のコロナ禍の影響で遅れたインタビュー・史料調査を行った。ほか、海外からオンラインで国内学会・研究会に参加した。史料調査は、台湾では国史館・国家档案局・中央研究院・法務部・国民党党史館・国立政治大学、アメリカではスタンフォード大学、日本では外交史料館・国会図書館などで行い、大量の関連史料を得た。長期に渡って史料館責任者との交渉を重ねたことで、初めて公開される史料も多く得ることができた。インタビュー調査は、台湾・アメリカ・日本で、当時或いは現役の外交官・政治家などに対して行った（中国語、英語、日本語）。国際的な学術交流も活発に行い、台湾・アメリカ（日本・中国ではオンラインを通じて）で多くの当該分野における第一人者と議論を行い、情報収集を行った。博士論文の内容はそれぞれ、学会（漢陽国際学術セミナー：韓国、日本台湾学会：台湾、日本国際政治学会、近代東亞與台灣政治與人權學術研討會：台湾）で報告を行い、あらゆる国・分野の研究者からレビューを受けた。ほか、機関・大学内の研究会で報告する機会を沢山貰った。博士論文の内容の一部は海外ジャーナル（英語、中国語）に投稿した。
