项目摘要

本研究は，近代日本の基本漢字文献に収録される漢字の字種・字体を調査し，個々の文献の特性(成立時期・背景，作成目的，作者，収録字数など)を考慮しつつ，それぞれの関係性を明らかにしようとするものである。個別の文献についての整理を行い，画像データと漢字データを用意した上で，複数の文献間の情報を相互参照可能なデータベースとしてまとめ，実際の漢字文献に収録されている具体的な字種と字体をオンラインでも閲覧可能な画像形式で提示することを目指している。令和4年度は，令和3年度に引き続き，研究対象とする漢字文献の収集と整理，データベース化のためのデータ整理，画像ファイルの作成などを行った。新規に取得した文献としては，福澤諭吉『文字之教』第一・第二・附録(福澤氏蔵版，1873)の3巻があり，復刻版と活字版との比較照合を行っている最中である。そのため、ペーパーとして新たに報告できる内容は存在しない。また，検討予定の資料としているJohn Chalmers, An account of the structure of Chinese characters under 300 primary forms. (1882)は，実物の入手を断念し，原本の所蔵先が少なく掲載許可も取りにくいと判断したため，2009年に海外の出版社(Kessinger Pub)によって作成された複製本の購入を検討している。これによって予定していた16本の漢字文献について，全て実物・あるいは複写データを入手できる見込みとなった。

This study investigates the types and fonts of Chinese characters recorded in modern Japanese basic Chinese literature, considering the characteristics of each document (establishment period, background, purpose, author, number of characters recorded), and the relationship between them. In the process of sorting out individual documents, images and Chinese characters may be referred to each other. In fact, Chinese characters may be referred to each other in the form of images.
