本年度は本研究の5年目の完成年度の予定であったが、コロナ禍の３年間の影響が大きく、2021年度と比較して進んでいない。当初は作成した電子版パラレルテキストにより、英仏両言語写本間の語彙、特に英語版での本来語の接辞付きの複合動詞、フランス語借用語、 機能語(特に前置詞)、および両言語版での二項句(binomials)について、発表を行う予定であった。しかしながら、コロナ禍の影響により、本来予定していた作業を完了できていない。 本年度は、完成したパラレルコーパスの修正作業とデータベースへの情報追加と分析作業を行った。上述の作業のうち、二項句の調査についてはデータ処理を完了し比較対照をおこなった。2021年度に報告したように、(1) 英語版の二項句がフランス語版の二項句とandとetを除いて対応する場合、(2) 英語の二項句の英語本来語要素が二語とも、あるいは一語のみ意味的に対応するフランス語の二項句になっている場合、また、(3) 英語版の二項句がフランス語版では一語で表現される場合、(4) 逆に 英語版の一語がフランス語版では二項句に対応する場合が見られ、2022年度はこの数量化をしようとしたが、写本間の対応をどのように処理すべきかという問題で行き詰まった。そのため、写本間の問題を再度考慮するため、この問題については一旦作業を中止した。ただし、研究を進めるために、二項句以外の調査項目である、本来語の接辞付きの複合動詞、フランス語借用語、 前置詞の対応関係の調査をパラレルテキストにより進め、データ集め自体は終わりつつある。
