项目摘要

本研究は、日本で生活する日本語非母語話者を対象とした災害時情報リテラシーの指導方法の開発を目的としている。この研究では、情報リテラシーを「情報を正しく読み解き、正しく発信すること」と考えており、「災害時情報リテラシー」を以下のように定義している。災害時情報リテラシーとは、地震などの自然災害に見舞われた非日常的な文脈のなかで、①その状況において機能しているあらゆる情報源を利用して情報を入手し、②その情報の信頼性を確認し取捨選択したうえで、その情報にもとづいて必要な行動をとり、③さらにその情報を必要とする人に向けて発信し、共有することのできる能力をいう。これまでの研究では、情報リテラシー教育には、単に言語能力やICTリテラシーだけではなく、対象とする言語との心理的な距離や異なる社会文化の状況を理解する能力が必要であることや、「やさしい日本語」の有効性や限界などがわかってきた。また、災害時の特殊な用語などの理解の問題のほかに、避難を指示している文脈と、避難を勧める文脈の違いなど、状況に合わせて「文脈を読みとる」ことにも難しさがあることなどがわかった。また、当初は情報の取得の方法が情報リテラシーの中心になると考えていたが、手に入れた情報の信頼性を検証することのほうがむずかしいこともわかってきた。そして、コロナ禍により、オンライン化が一挙に進んだことによって、研究として新たな課題も生じた。情報源と信頼性には密接な関係があるが、オンライン化が進み、「人」と直接接することが少なくなると、情報源の確かさをどのように確認するかが新たな課題となった。このようにオンライン化に対応した情報リテラシー教育のあり方を開発することが2022年度の大きな課題であった。
