2022年度も、引き続きバリアフリー映画・演劇の製作者並びにそれらを評価する当事者モニターに対するヒアリング調査と、実際に研究代表者がドキュメンタリー映画を製作するアクションリサーチを実施することを想定して準備を進めた。ヒアリング調査については、近年取り組みが加速しているバリアフリー演劇の演出家にインタビューを行い、情報保障のみならず、客席と舞台、観客と演者といった垣根を取り払うような、新たなバリアフリーの取り組みについて示唆を得た。また、視覚障害のモニター３名に対して、オンラインにてバリアフリー映画の上映を行い、音声ガイドに関するインタビュー調査を実施した。ドキュメンタリー映画製作のアクションリサーチについては、2022年度も新型コロナウイルス感染防止のため、盲ろう者に対するICT支援事業が大幅に縮小されたことと、地域の通訳・介助者の確保が難しい実情もあり、今年度の撮影は断念し、次年度より改めて撮影を行うこととなった。そのため、引き続き視覚障害を持つ研究代表者が撮影にスムーズに参画できるよう、スマートフォンを使って撮影が可能な機材の準備や、撮影時の視覚的支援体制の確立等、次年度の撮影に向けての体制構築を行った。その他、バリアフリー映画・演劇の最新動向について情報収集を行い、次年度のヒアリング調査並びにアクションリサーチの実施に向けた準備を行った。
