项目摘要

本研究は言語学習者の生産語彙能力をコンピュータとの対話を通して評定する手法を確立することを目的としている．今年度は，以下の3つの項目について研究をおこなった．(1) 昨年度考案した同一のテーマの写真集合を刺激として与え，それらの写真から連想される語や状況記述を解答させる形式の語彙テストPic2PLexを日本語学習者の協力を得て，その有効性を確認した．この成果は人工知能学会論文誌に英語論文として出版した．(2) 語彙能力評定のための評価尺度として，従来は語彙のサイズを推定するものがほとんどである．語彙サイズの推定のための前提として，語の使用頻度による語の難易度を定義し，学習者は難易度の易しい語から学習することを想定している．我々は語の難易度に加え，獲得語彙の意味的な拡がりを評定に導入することを提案し，Vocabulary Volumeという新しい評価尺度を提案した．研究項目(2)で収集したデータを用いて提案した評価尺度が学習者の言語能力レベルをうまく弁別できることを示した．この成果をまとめ，International Conference on Computer Supported Education (CSEDU 2022)で発表した．(3) 対話における話者が使用する語彙レベルの違いが対話の進行にともなってどのように変化するかを既存の対話コーパス (BTSJ)を使って分析し，従来対話において観察されている語彙アライメントに加え，語彙レベルアライメントが起りうることを発見した．
