2021年度にはコロナ禍に伴う大学の入構規制のため所属大学外での調査はおろか、研究分担者との対面での打ち合わせや学内での調査も困難な状況であった。このため、2021年には倫理申請および時間概念を測定するタスクの考案に注力した。2022年には大学の入構規制が緩和され、統制群での測定を中心に若年成人56名分のデータを取得した（うち6名が東日本大震災経験者［以降「経験者群」］）。各調査では１．うつや不安についての質問紙調査・２．時間的展望に関する質問紙調査・３．時間的展望に関する定量的な心理実験・４．インタビューを実施した。１と２には既存の質問紙であるBDI・STAI・ZTPIを用いた。３については先行研究に倣った時間割引率課題を採用したほか、二つの実験課題を新たに考案した。そのうちの一つでは過去・現在・未来の展望を記録するため「スフィア・テスト」を考案し、非経験者群から取得したデータを用いて論文を公刊した。もう一つでは、人が出来事の生じるタイミングを過去・現在・未来でどの程度一貫して捉えているか測定した。これについては、まだ経験者群のデータが6名分に限られるものの、経験者群ではそうでない群に比べ過去・未来の一貫性が少なく見積もられる傾向が見られそうである。４については、経験者群のみを対象に半構造化インタビューを実施し、経験の内容の多様性を調査した。インタビュー結果については検証中であるが、心理実験の結果と組み合わせることにより、個人差を生む要因を検証する予定である。
