1．概要：令和4年度もコロナ禍により海外への渡航が制限されていた。そのためドイツでの実地調査および海外の研究者を交えた対面でのシンポジウム・意見交換等の実施は見送った。それに代えドイツの研究者との接触、資料・情報収集はインターネットを通して実施した。他方において、対面による国内研究者との意見交換、資料・情報収集は国内の移動制限が緩和された年度末に実施した。２．ドイツ新政権の移民・外国人政策に関する研究：2021年のドイツ議会選挙により誕生したショルツ政権における移民・外国人政策の位置づけを分析した。とりわけ社会民主党、緑の党、自由民主党の連立下にあるショルツ政権が前メルケル政権の移民政策をどのように評価し、コロナ禍での政策に活かし、またロシアの攻撃を逃れたウクライナ難民の受け入れをどのように実施しているかに関して研究を進めた。３．非接触型社会における、移民・外国人に対するドイツ市民の意識の分析：コロナ禍において外出を控えたドイツ市民は、移民・外国人と直接接触する機会が減少した。こうした日常生活の中で発生した、外国人・移民に向けられた犯罪の状況とその内容の変化を分析した。あわせて2022年12月に発覚した極右勢力（Reichsbuerger：帝国市民）による政府転覆計画を分析し、ドイツ極右勢力の対人認識・評価における民族帰属性の位置づけ、ならびに外国人・移民に対する彼らの不満の内容に関して研究を進めた。４．コロナ禍における学校教育状況に関する研究：コロナ禍により学習環境に大きな変化が生じた。オンライン授業の進展、図書館等各種学習施設の利用制限により、児童・生徒の学力格差にはどのような変化が生じたかを、とりわけ移民を背景に持つ児童・生徒の状況に着目し、資料収集と分析を行った。
