项目摘要

女性は性周期に伴う様々な身体的・精神的症状の変化を経験する。特に月経前には、倦怠感、判断力の低下、イライラなどの月経前症候群（PremenstrualSyndrome: PMS）が生じやすいが、症状が主観的であるため他者から理解されにくく、女性自身も変調を自覚しにくい。心身の変調の早期発見や治療、セルフケア促進のためには、これらの症状を客観的指標にて可視化する必要がある。これに対して我々は、近赤外分光法（near-infrared spectroscopy:NIRS）を用いた高次脳機能評価に取り組んでいるが、女性の多様な症状を可視化するには、複数の評価指標による多角的アプローチが必要と考えた。そこで心身の変調との高い相関が期待されている自律神経バランスに着目した。本研究の目的は、非侵襲的で連続的計測が可能な心拍ゆらぎ解析に基づく自律神経バランス測定と、NIRSによる高次脳機能評価といった2つの客観的指標を用いて、性周期に伴う心身の変調を多角的に可視化することである。研究1では、月経随伴症状の主観的指標と客観的指標との関連を明らかにし、日常生活下における月経随伴症状を客観的に評価することを目的とした。そのために、日常生活の中でスマートウォッチを装着し、スマートウォッチが示すストレス指標と月経随伴症状との関連を明らかにすることとした。本年度は、健常およびPMS症状を有する月経周期が安定している20歳代の女子大学生・大学院生30名程度を対象に調査を開始した。研究2では、統制された環境下において月経随伴症状と脳血流および自律神経活動との特徴から、スマートウォッチから得られる心拍変動からストレス指標を算出し、スマートウォッチの妥当性を検証することを目的とした。健常およびPMS症状を有する月経周期が安定している20歳代の女子大学生・大学院生10名程度を対象に調査を開始した。
