项目摘要

2022年度は、初めて研究調査対象のロレートの「サンタ・カーザ（聖なる家）」において実見調査を遂行した。イタリア、ロレートのバジリカの交差部に存在する巨大な聖遺物容器に収められた聖遺物である「聖なる家」に入り、その場を体験し、細部を確認することができたことがまず一つの成果であった。その上で、隣接する古文書館と美術館における調査をカプチン修道士のアンドレ神父の尽力のもと行った。さらに周辺都市のアンコーナとファブリアーノにおいて該当図像（ロレートの聖母）の壁画の実見調査を行なった。またこれらの調査に加え、ローマのヘルツィアーナ図書館では写真資料と文献の調査を行った。今回の調査は、研究対象の実見調査に加え、現地でのみ入手可能な最新の情報を入手し、研究を行うことが主な目的であった。アンドレ神父の教示と便宜により、一般には流通していない「聖なる家」に関連する教皇庁刊行の五巻本の書籍を入手できたが、この書籍は、欧州全体、アジアをも視野に入れた「聖なる家」のフィールド・ワークの成果をまとめたものである。この資料を通じ、当該研究者自身が予定していた研究調査の大部分がすでに実施されていたことを知ることとなった。しかし今回の調査により、マルケ州全体のロレートに関連する図像的傾向についての大まかな情報を得、同時に、今後の分析対象とすべき地域を絞ることができた。研究対象の「聖なる家」と「受胎告知」図像との関連については、海外の雑誌に論文を投稿済である（審査中）。以上から、2022年度の最も大きな成果は、「ロレートの崇敬」に関する最新研究の動向や、資料を把握できたことだと言える。具体的な形での成果の発表としては、無原罪の御宿りを取り扱った最初期の図像であるフィリッポ・リッピのスポレート内陣壁画についての論文、ロレートの連祷についての論文が挙げられる。
