项目摘要

令和4年度は、日本で取り寄せられる『ジャン＝ジャック・ルソー書簡全集』を可能な限り入手し、読解する作業を行った。特に1770年代の書簡を中心に分析しつつ、晩年から死後において、ルソーが世論を通してどのような人物像を付与されているのかを分析した。具体的には、ルイ＝セバスチャン・メルシエの『新語集』や『タブロー・ド・パリ』を含むいくつかの著作を参照しつつ、ルソーの思想が18世紀末から19世紀初頭において、どのように受容されたのかを考察した。特に、メルシエの『新語集』は、ルソーの特異な言語使用と、それが19世紀以降のフランス文学に与えた影響を考える上で、重要な資料である。この『新語集』におけるルソー主義の射程について分析した学術論文を執筆して、日本大学芸術学部の『芸術研究所紀要』2022年号に掲載した。また、2022年12月3日に信州大学で行われた、啓蒙思想の主知主義を問い直すシンポジウム「アンシャン・レジームから近代へ、そしてその先へ－文学と哲学－」では、第4部の司会を担当した。さらに、2023年3月には、欧米言語文化学会の第144回例会の中でシンポジウム「近現代フランス文学における〈家族〉と〈性差〉の表象」を開催した。この機会に、立教大学教育講師・黒木秀房氏と、大阪大学講師・篠原学氏とともに登壇し、発表「クララン共同体における家政の表象と性差のキアスム」という題名で発表を行った。同時に、このシンポジウム全体の司会も担当した。著書（共著）としては、丸善書店から2023年1月に刊行された『啓蒙思想の百科事典』の、項目「サロン」を執筆した。
