项目摘要

研究計画書では、今年度は平安時代以降の疫病復興策の動向や疫病への意識について、籍帳制度及び疫病に連関する語彙の調査から確認する予定となっており、前年度から繰り上げて実施していたが、研究の進展に伴い、史料収集範囲及や論点をさらに広げる必要がでてきた。具体的にいうと、復興策については、時代によって多様な変遷があり、籍帳制度だけの問題にとどまらないこと、七世紀以来の開発とこれに伴う矛盾の発生及び矛盾への適応にかかる歴史的展開を踏まえなければならないことが自覚された。また疫病への意識については、辞書のみの分析ではやはり限界があり、同時代の史料を広く収集する必要があることが確認された。そのため今年度は、平安時代の古記録、古文書、文学作品などを横断的に収集しつつ、疫病を巡る七世紀以来の展開を分析した。具体的な分析方法としては、七世紀以来推進された国制の指針がどのようなもので、その方針転換と疫病がどのように連関しているのかという点に着目するとともに、平安時代の疫病と奈良時代の疫病の類似点・相違点を体系的に論じる方法をとった。その結果、従来律令制の進展とも逆に弛緩とも評価されてきた諸事象に対し、新たな評価を加えることが可能となったほか、甚大な被害をもたらす特異な疫病の特徴を通時代的に整理することができた。さらに、七世紀から一〇世紀まで日本古代における疫病研究の基本的論点を整理することで、他時代・他地域の疫病との比較研究をするための土台とし、その成果を論文化した。

The research plan for this year is based on the trend of the epidemic recovery strategy in the peaceful era, the awareness of the epidemic, the accounting system and the identification of the words related to the epidemic. The development of the 7th century is accompanied by the emergence of contradictions and the expansion of the history of contradictions. It is necessary to identify the consciousness of epidemic diseases, the analysis of dictionaries and historical materials of the same era. This year, ancient records, ancient books and literary works of the Heian era have been collected and analyzed since the 7th century. The specific analysis method is based on the discussion method of the system of disease in Heian era and the system of disease in Nara era. The results of the study are as follows: A review of the basic points of disease research in ancient Japan from the 7th century to the 10th century; a comparative study of diseases in other times and regions; and a discussion of culture.
