项目摘要

2022年度は、室町幕府奉行人制の成立と展開という論点に関して、以下のような成果が得られた。①室町幕府の文書管理：本稿では、鎌倉幕府における公文書管理体制がいかに室町幕府に継承され、変質していったかを検討した。鎌倉幕府では幕府文庫による集中的な公文書管理がなされていたが、室町幕府では観応擾乱によりそうした体制は崩壊し、各奉行人の家が個別分散的に管理する体制に移行し、奉行人の家が文書管理の中核となったことを解明した。②六波羅奉行人の学問と漢籍：本稿では、六波羅探題奉行人斎藤唯浄が執筆した御成敗式目注釈書『関東御式目』を中心に、鎌倉・室町両幕府における奉行人・評定衆における学問のあり方を検討した。多くの和書・漢籍を所蔵していたが、注釈には権威のある五経・漢籍だけが用いられていたこと、また『白氏文集』の受容の形態から、漢籍により鎌倉後期における式目運用のあり方についても注釈をつけていること、学問を行うに際しての文庫の蔵書の変遷なども解明した。奉行人は従来から法律の専門家であったことは指摘されていたが、本稿によりその学問的背景の具体相を解明することができた。③室町幕府奉行人清元定の史料紹介および典籍の書写：戦国期の奉行人清元定が執筆した第11代将軍足利義澄の元服記を翻刻紹介した。その史料的性格を検討し、本史料が元定が付けていた日記の別記にあたることを指摘した。あわせて元定が書写・収集した史料を整理し、応仁の乱後における幕府の復興と関連があることを見通した。これらの成果の他、歴史マンガと日本中世史との関係を考察した論考も発表した。
