项目摘要

前年度は標準的なNew Keynesianモデルを用いてFundamental-driven Liquidity Trap（FLT）とExpectations-driven Liquidity Trap（ELT）という2種類の流動性の罠の発生をモデル上で再現した。その上で、政策決定者から見てこれらの2つの罠の識別が困難であることを確認した事業期間2年目にあたる2022年度は、このモデルにTime-to-buildラグを伴う公共投資政策を導入し、政策の含意を確かめた。結果として、経済が上記の2種類の流動性の罠のどちらに直面しているかに依存して政策の効果が大きく異なることが確認された。現時点ではトイ・モデルによる定性的な分析に留まっているため、さらに定量的な分析を行ったうえで論文としてまとめる必要がある。加えて、サブプロジェクトとして、新聞記事で報道された物価変動に関するニュースに対する日本の家計の予想インフレ率の反応を「消費動向調査」のパネルデータを用いて分析した。結果として、（１）日本の家計の予想インフレ率は家計が普段購入するような身の回りの財・サービスの物価に関するニュースに強く反応する傾向があるものの、消費者物価指数の水準に関するニュースや金融政策の変更に関するニュースにはあまり強く反応していないこと、（２）とくに自身の予想インフレ率を上昇させるようなニュースに対して家計の予想インフレ率は過剰反応をしていること、の2点が明らかになった。なお、成果はゆうちょ財団の機関誌である季刊『個人金融』で公表された。
