项目摘要

本研究は因果推論に必要な仮定の検定と、仮定の妥当性が担保されない場合における代替的推定手法を分析する。なかでも、回帰不連続デザインと呼ばれる手法に注目して研究を行っている。令和４年度は、研究課題1.（密度の連続性条件と回帰不連続デザインの点識別条件の関係性を明らかにする）の解決となる論文(研究協力者：石原卓弥氏との共著)の投稿準備が進み、令和3年度に着手した仮定の妥当性検定の多重検定に対処した同時検定の提唱論文(研究協力者：石原卓弥・伏島光毅両氏との共著)をプレプリントとして公開することができた。いずれの論文も令和５年度初頭に投稿予定である。加えて、本研究の最終目的の一つである統計ソフトウェアパッケージについても、Rパッケージ"rdtest"を同じく令和5年度初頭に公開予定である。令和4年度はさらに、研究課題2.(部分識別推定)及び研究課題3.(検定と部分識別の統合)の探索的分析を進展させつつ、研究課題4.(離散割当変数への一般化)の検討をおこなった。それらの検討を行う上で、回帰不連続デザインの推定において実証分析者が直面する以下の二課題の着想を得て、一定の成果を得ることができた。第一に、割当変数が複数ある場合、従来の一次元化手法が漸近正規性に必要な仮定と矛盾することに着目し、新たに示した局所線形回帰の多次元拡張に基づく推定量を提案し、その数値的性質を示すことができた（研究協力者：石原卓弥氏、栗栖大輔氏、松田安昌氏との共著）。第二に、従属変数が二値であるときには残渣分布が有限標本で既知となることに着目し、その場合の有限標本推定量を提案し、その数値的性質を示すことができた（研究協力者：石原卓弥氏、矢田紘平氏との共著）。いずれも令和4年度に口頭報告に至っており、令和５年度中の投稿を目指している。
